The Den Modern Apothecary is helping your self-care game become a socially conscious one. From skincare to hair care, you’ll find low-impact packaging like shampoo bars, and refillable items. Our approach to skin and beauty is simple, clean, eco-friendly, and has an ingredient list you can actually pronounce.
Speaking of refillable, our replenishment program is a big part of our identity, and filling up your pre-purchased containers means less plastic in our landfills. That’s a win in our books.
We don’t need a handful of people doing zero waste perfectly. We need people doing it imperfectly, everyday!

During Earth Month in April 2018, we offered our guests a product refill program with the goal of further promoting sustainability in our community. Recycling is a great option, but reducing and reusing is even better! This program proved to be a total success that guests wanted to make permanent— so now it’s here. Here for good.
Here’s how it works:
Bring in your clean, empty, original containers. We weigh and refill them.
We re-weigh them with product and charge you a per-gram price.
That’s it. Who said sustainability had to be complex?
This program is applicable to KEVIN.MURPHY HAIR, EVO HAIR and ROUTINE DEODORANT. Some exceptions apply.
