APPOINTMENT POLICY
Here are a few of the nitty gritties….
We send confirmation notifications either by text or email 72hrs before all scheduled appointments, and during the busy periods (Christmas) you may also receive an additional one week appointment reminder. Please connect with us via Phone or Email at least 48hrs in advance to inform us of any changes to your scheduled service - it is our policy to follow up and confirm the changes.
Cancellations
We require 48 hours notice to make any changes to your scheduled service without cancellation fees. Cancellation with less than 48 hours notice will be charged 50% of the scheduled service, with a payment used to hold any future appointments. Second offense is charged at 100%. Should you not show up for your scheduled appointment (no show), you will be required to pay 100% for your missed service before you are able to book any future appointments, and all future appointments are paid in full prior.
Change of mind policy - within 48hrs
If you are booked for a longer service, and have had a change of mind within the cancellation policy time frame; you will still be charged for your original booking.
Example: You are booked in for a Haircut and Colour Service and the day of your appointment you decide only to do a haircut.
Arriving Late
Arriving at your appointment on time is necessary for 100% of your scheduled service to be completed. However, we do understand that things happen and give a 10 minute grace period. If you arrive later than 10 minutes then we may need to reschedule or change the service to a shorter one at the same price as the original service scheduled.
Revisions /Adjustments
We want you to love your locks. If you are unhappy with your service for whatever reason, we want to know. Please inform Stone Fox ASAP or within 72 hours of receiving a service if there are any tweaks to be made to your hair. We are happy to make adjustments within 14 days of the initial service although based on previous consultations charges may be applicable for product cost of colour adjustments.
Illness
If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule your appointment for another time. We do not want you to come in sick, as this can jeopardize the health of our team and other clients. If we are notified before your appointment, we allow a 24 hour window for you to reschedule without being subject to a cancellation fee amounting to 100% of the scheduled service. If you are unwell on multiple occasions, we will require a credit card on file or a deposit to hold future appointments.
Please note re: Covid Cautionary Procedures: Should you feel more comfortable and choose to wear a mask to your appointment, your stylist will match you and wear one too - no questions asked!
Consultations
Are always done in person at the salon and are mandatory for all New Clients looking to receive a chemical service. The $25 non-refundable consultation fee/ deposit will be due at your consultation, which will then be applied to your service total the day of your colour appointment. Should you choose to not to go ahead with the colour portion of your upcoming appointment, the fee is then used to compensate your stylist for their time during the consultation. Note, should you need to reschedule more than 2x, any deposits pertaining to said service will be forfeited.
